Fresh air

After wearing, hang the garment up outside for some fresh air. This will minimize the amount you have to wash the garment, increase its longevity, save water and energy.

Cold & gentle wash

For a machine wash use cool water, this helps avoid shrinkage and maintain the colour. Set the machine to a gentle or delicate setting, for extra protection place the garment in a delicates bag. Use a gentle and natural detergent.
After washing, remove garments from the machine as soon as possible - water logging may cause dye bleeds.

Hand wash

Fill a basin with cool water and gentle detergent. Submerge garments and swish around. Do not scrub, twist or wring. Empty basin and refill with clean water. Once again swish garments around to wash out the soapy water. Remove garments and gently squeeze out water - do not twist or wring. Wrap in an absorbent towel and dab out remaining water, then dry as per below.

Air drying

Hang garments on line, on a hanger or draped across a clothes rack. Dry in shade to reduce risk of fading.
